Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann (Association of Irish Traditional Musicians)

Aims/Activities: To promote Irish traditional music, dancing and singing. Children from six years upwards are taught to play most traditional instruments by teachers who travel from as far away as Belfast and Dundalk, all of whom have a wide knowledge and experience. Not only do the young people greatly enjoy their music but they enter for Feiseanna and Fleidhanna to all-Ireland level. Many members have won All-Ireland medals. Members have also made trips to Europe and America.

Meetings: Sat 11.30 am to 2.30 pm & Thurs 6.30 pm to 9.15 pm

Aims to provide an opportunity for senior citizens to participate in a range of activities, enjoy afternoon tea and socialise. New members, and indeed leaders, are always welcome.
