Due to the large number of weddings in our parish, all couples are required to give at least 6 months notice of their marriage to ensure preferred dates are available. Marriages can only be booked by the couple, in person with either Fr Jim Crudden or Fr Declan Mulligan in the sacristy after evening Masses (Wednesdays after 7.30pm Mass or Saturdays after 6.30pm Mass)
Only one marriage will be booked per day, no later than 2 pm and weddings will no longer be available to book between Christmas Eve and St Stephens Day or New Years Eve and New Years Day.
For couples living outside the parish who wish to use either church for their wedding, a priest from their own parish must be willing to officiate at the wedding, confirmed in writing at the time of booking. A donation of £150 to cover administration costs for those living outside the parish is required.
Baptism will take place on the 1st Sunday of the month in Our Lady of the Assumption Church and the 3rd Sunday of the month in St Patrick's Church, Bryansford at 12.45 pm. One months notice is required.
To book a date for a Baptism contact Fr Jim Crudden or Fr Declan Mulligan after Mass in the sacristy in Newcastle.
